EACH COUPLE IS A “GARDEN”
. A biblical perspective

The Bible opens and concludes with the evocation of a garden, as well as that of a couple, but it also houses at its center – the Song of Songs – the representation of a couple in the garden.

This article examins this biblical association between the garden and the human couple.
Why does the couple meet in the garden? How is this affinity declined, phenomenologically? In what way is the figure of the couple in the garden the bearer of an evangelical truth?
At the intersection of the two texts by Pope Francis Laudato si’ and Amoris laetitia, the meditation leads to the urgency of creating gardens of recognition.
