ONG Catholique: Forum of Rome. Platform "education"

In December 2017 the Secretary of State had called for a reunion in Rome of all the ONGs of catholic inspiration which are active in the different international organizations.

The members of the missions of the Holy See at the heart of the international organizations were also present.
During this meeting called “Forum of Rome” a structure of work and of animation of the network has been put in place. It has been decided to create within the Forum different thematic platforms.

One of these platforms will be dedicated to education.
The reunion which took place in Paris on 25 mars at the premises of the SGEC in presence of Mgr. Follo, representative of the Holy See at the UNESCO, brought together the ONGs of catholic inspiration which are engaged in the field of education at the UNESCO.

The aim was to determine the work topics which could be suggested in the context of a collaborative work at the UNESCO but also more widely at all the international organizations. Among those subjects was emphasized the need of formation of ONGs on international programs in the field of education and on the strategies to apply to the States and the international community in general.
